We were planning on buying the $700 Weber Genesis next spring. When doing research, we also considered the $500 Charbroil Red, which was rated pretty highly by Consumer Reports. Still, we decided to fork over the extra $200 to get the Weber. Today our local Home Depot has the Charbroil Red on clearance for $300 - so now we're talking a $400 price difference. I know the Charbroil won't last nearly as long, but for less than half the price, we are seriously considering it. Basically, is the Weber twice as good as the CB, will it last twice as long, etc? Any advice would be appreciated!
