Slow cook a steak?

At food discussion board, a poster noted the beginning of BBQ season and asked not only what steaks were favored but if anyone 'slow-cooked' steaks on the grill.

I think what steak cuts you favor is a good question, so I'll ask it here: What steak cuts do you favor for the grill?

As to slow-cooking a steak, I can't imagine doing that - steak is why they say 'the hotter the heat, the better the meat'. Does anyone slow cook a steak?
