So I preface this by saying that we're not the best grillmeisters and the grill is located near the pool. We have a very nice Dacor natural gas grill. This week we fired it up not realizing that there was a 'noodle' for the pool sitting behind the cover and in a narrow space between the grill and wall. When things got hot, that noodle got sucked up into the grill and melted all over the place. Needless to say dinner was ruined....Now I'm concerned that I'll never be able to get it cleaned up (it's EVERYWHERE--picture melted velveeta dripping from every conceivable location--most of which are unreachable)...I understand that this lovely yellow noodle is made of polyethyelene and I am concerned that even if I can get it pretty clean there could still be toxic stuff baked into/onto my grill. Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this sort of unnatural disaster?? I looked at replacing it, and wow....sticker shock. Thanks.
