Boy, you guys are critical! I know stainless is not paint. But Im saying I read that it is made of stainless steel just like the s series. The only difference is the stainless is painted over to get the various colors. So I am trying to find out if anyone has had problems with the painted surfaces over time?

We also called the owner of the store back and asked about the porcelain grids. He stated that weber stopped using the porcelain on the regular models and replaced them with the plain cast. He said the pamphlets just haven't been updated yet. We can upgrade to the s series however if we choose to. So, simple question. Should we get the stainless or should we keep the black one? Money is not an issue if the grill will stay nicer longer.
