We just built our retirement house and I had the builder put in a NG line for my grill. Now I want to build my patio and include a built-in grill or at the least, a pad with NG hook-up for a grill. I want to to it right and have it last as long as I might (probably not all that long since I now receive soc sec). I looked at a Kitchen Aid grill and really like it but it is big $$. Should I go with a built-in unit (stone surround) or a free standing grill? Is there a place where I can find plans for patio layouts, grills, etc? Thanks for your help.
