I have seen these in the past, and yes, they are certainly a step above the summit series. If you are looking to get a new rig though, and if you want it to be a SS gasser, look at Fire Magic and Lynx. Both have lifetime warranties, and fully welded 304 SS. The burners on both (Cast red brass on the Lynx and SS on the FM) are massive...they are 1/4 inch thick...the heat output on these are incredible. The quality is apparent...a Lynx burner weighs over 8 lbs and they dont even offer replacement burners (they will not rot out). I had a Lynx and really liked it (but I sold it and went to a ceramic cooker). Check out this site for a comparison of different companies burners...you might be surprised at the Vieluxe burners compared to the ones I mentioned above...there are a couple of links on the left side also..good luck!
