Thanks again for the info. I went to the FM dealer today to buy the A540, but of course he had no stock. I'd need to do a special order at a higher price than when he had stock. Turns out he had some leftover 2007 Regal I's. It has a few differences from the A540, different ignitor, no pull out tank tray, different burners (6 straight instead of 3 "E"'s), no side burner, no flame tubes, no thermometer and probe. But it was $1K less...and it arrives on Tuesday.

For what it's worth, I think the Lynx is a better made grill. I think the steel is thicker and it has a lot more features (led knobs, lights, smoke box, hood assist), and are priced better. I had a great offer on an '07 30" with the Pro-Sear, but the FM was large enough without being too big, and had the three burners (actually 6) I wanted.

I can't wait to throw some strip steaks on this thing. Just hope I don't end up with Dale's flare up issue. I'll let you know how it works after the first grill....
