Thanks for the info. I've looked at both Lynx and FM, they both seem very well made. What size Lynx do you have? The 30" would be big enough, but it only has two burners which seems kind of limiting - also it's a bit down on btu's/sqin compared to the 27" (too small) and 36". The 36" is 640 sq. in., really too big for two, but it's the smallest Lynx with 3 burners. The FM A540 seems like a nice choice, it's not huge (540 sq in), and still has three burners.

How does the Lynx respond to temp changes? Is it difficult to change the temps with the ceramic briquettes holding in the heat?
