Wow, I am surprised to hear of your FM experiences. I have cooked on one and I own a Lynx, and I think FM's are one of the best you can get. Maybe something is amiss with the burners? Have you been able to contact their customer service? That is the first thing I would do, because I have to believe something is out of wack somewhere...this is really the first complaint I have seen on one of their grills. I hope you get it corrected and please post up the results. Good luck
