Unhappy with Fire Magic

Just stumbled onto this forum, looks great. I built a rather extensive outdoor cooking area last year. After a lot of research, choose a built in Fire Magic grill. At this point I am already looking to replace it. My problems are:
1. Really difficult to keep clean, my last grill and many others have a large pull out tray to collect the grease, which I usually line with foil. This one has no such thing, and getting foil under the burners is very difficult.
2. It flares up WAY to easily, even when everything is spotlessly clean. One load of hamburgers or chicken will load up the grease again, and flare up.
3. There is a very small area where the temp is just under the flare up point, but not high enough to brown, above that, everything flares up.

At this point, I rarely use it and do most of my cooking on the Big Green Egg.

Am I alone in my disappointment with the Fire Magic? I had thought they were the best.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance, this looks like a cool site.

Dale
