I now cook on nothing but Weber grills - and I have a LOT of them. I love the durability, the quality construction, heavy grade metal, enameled finish rather than painted, availability of replacement parts from Weber, and the best customer support in the industry - maybe ANY industry and YES, I think the Weber is the best choice and is worth the price differential - IF you stick with the American-made models.

I bought my Genesis Silver B from a guy off of Craigslist for $175, replaced the grates with cast iron, cleaned up the grill real good and it is a great grill at a very reasonable price. Check the CL and ebay listings for a good deal on a used Weber - I've seen several of them lately.
