I deliver propane and install propane accessories. A 500 gallon LP tank does have far more pressure than a 20 lb tank. The LP company will hook a industrial grade regulator to the grill. Its far better build quality than the regulator that came with the grill. It will probably be a Rego or Sherwood 2nd stage regulator with a cut off valve after the regulator leading to the grill.
