I have owned the blue ember for 2 1/2 months now and also love the grill. I had a problem with the drip pan, partly my fault and partly grill design. You have to lift pan up to remove. I forced it upon first use and the outer lip broke off 2/3rds across. The back lip is spot welded to the drip pan proper(only spot weld on the grill). Called customer service and 5 minutes later a new drip pan was on the way and received within 1 week. Although grill heats to 700 within 10 minutes the control panel remains remarkably cool. Great grill.
