I find the main issue with big box grills is the long term issue - can you get through to customer service? Can you get parts? Can you get warranty? Once your credit card is processed - the big box stores are done with you. Weber is the hands-down champ on backing up their product. honoring warranty, and stocking parts....and I think they will be around. I tell friends when they are looking at big box grills - turn to the last page of the owner's manual - call the customer service number on your cell phone and, if they answer with 15 minutes, you are probably OK to buy. rubicam
