Hi,
I am in the process of researching grills in anticipation of purchasing a new charcoal grill. Based on my web-based search I have narrowed my choices to two grills:
-Hasty Bake Suburban 415 (SS)
-Primo Lage Oval Ceramic Grill (Ceramic)
I am a long-time Weber user (buy one, use it for 5-8 years, throw it out due to corrosion etc.). I am more of a griller (direct and in-direct) than a smoker. Both of these grills seem more durable than the Weber (and more expensive!). I also looked at the BGE in cermamic models, but to my mind the Primo seemed to offer some nice features. In steel grills I aslo looked at the Cajun Grill and Bar-B-Chef Texas Grill.
90% of the time I am cooking for 2-4 people. I want a grill that starts up easily, has excellent temeperature adjustment, is well sealed to support smoking, and is robust to the elements of the Northeast (I'm tired on replacing grills every 5-8 years).
Does any one have experience with either of these grills? Can any one discuss their strengths or weaknesses? Is there another grill that I should be considering?
Thanks for your thoughts in advance!
:-)
Bob
