Long post but I am
Brand new to this BBQ stuff .. and I want to learn ...
I just purchaesed this grill from Lowes, Last years model. Offered them 450.00 and they said ok. I though this is a pretty good deal. Time will tell. liftime warrenty (if they dont give me a hassle about it) I hooked this unit up, but I didnt usr the included regulator, I installed one on my house line and adjusted it to about 8 1/2 water col inches. Just a smidge high, but I figure its ok since that really equates down to about only .035 extra PSI.
Cranked it up on high , after about 1 min. I'm at 300 another min and I'm at 400. I thought this is great. I tried the side burner and that thing has wonderful flame I can adjust all the burners down to very minimal flame so.. at this point I am very satisfied. Now If I only Knew how to cook.
Lets start with your basic Sirloin ... Preheat the grill to what Temp? Brown on both sides then turn the grill down ? and cook for how long .. (how can you tell without cutting it open) ?
Any guidence on spices would be deeply appreciated too .. Thanks.
