A couple more tips. Try doing a whole large chicken or Capon first for practice or just a whle turkey breast. Another tip, have 2 poeple lower the bird by putting a broom stick in the handle of the hook. NOw you are safely further away should the dead buzzard decide to splash or drop at once. Much better control too.
Also beware of doing it in the garage or in the rain
