Here is one that is a favorite of ours. The rub has some spice to it, and the syrup provides a nice counter sweetness.

2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cu-min
1/2 tsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. kosher salt

Rub the salmon with this mix (should be enough for 4 fillets). Grill them skin side down until they are almost done, then drizzle with about 1 tsp of maple syrup. Cook until the syrup makes a nice glaze, maybe a minute or so.

Hope you enjoy!
Jim
