Bob, I have a Weber gas grill, a WSM smoker, a Weber Kettle, and a CharGriller Grill. I am signed up to buy a Large Big Green Egg at the Texas Egg Fest. The Egg will serve as both a charcoal grill and smoker. The Egg will be a good unit, but it is relatively expensive. Since you have a smoker and only want a charcoal "grill", you can't beat the Weber 22 1/2" one-step Kettle unless you plan to cook for large numbers of people. Cooking indirect, which is the way you need to cook lots of things, a Kettle does have a limited amount of space. But if the size will work, it's the way to go. The round lid causes the heat to cook kind of like a convection oven. For example, you can cook the prettiest turkey you ever laid eyes on in a Kettle. And it is super easy to clean up -- which is worth considering. Good luck with whatever you decide to buy. I believe you can get the 22 1/2" one-step for under $100.
