Dave- I have a FM Regal and love it. It is a lot different than a Weber due to the space between the fire and grate, More space less flare up. The craftsmanship is far superior to a DCS as they have ss tube burners and FM are cast SS. No problem about the temp gage as you put a oven type inside and after a while you won,t need it, it'll train you. Lynx is ok but I was turned off about the cermatic items, something else to break. Love mine after 6 mos.
