I have a Weber Summit Platinum C4. It's an awesome grill for the money. The Weber is probably not going to get as hot as the FM, but it will get over 700 degrees. I don't know how well the FM will cook at lower temps. I cook brisket and boston butts on my Summit all the time, and they turn out great. The smoker box on the Weber is excellent, too - not one of those flimsy slide out trays that you see on some grills.
I think it's tough to beat Weber. It's a versatile grill, lasts forever, and the service is second to none.
