When lighting a chimney of charcoal, place a sheet of foil, about 12 inches square, under the chimney. After the newspaper burns, lift the chimney and move it over to the side. The little ring of paper ashes will be there on the foil. Gently fold the ends of the foil over to enclose the ashes and dispose of them. This avoids newspaper ashes blowing all over the grill and making a mess.
