My experiece pre-delivery sounds identical to yours. I have scoured the internet, called Costco and Brinkmann and ultimately decided that between Costco's return policy and the savings over the DCS that it was worth the risk. I ordered it two days ago. By the way, how long did it take from you placing of the order to delivery of the grill?
Not that I would do this, but is it identical enough that the DCS grills and radiants would fit on the Brinkmann? In other words, do you think that the parts are interchangeable?
