When I do ribeyes I put them on the counter covered for about half an hour to warm up. I coat them with Worcestershire sauce then dust them with garlic powder and lots of fresh ground black pepper. Preheat the grill (Weber Genesis B) to 500 degrees. Put the steaks on the grill and close the lid for about 5 minutes. Flip the steaks and cook for another 3-5 minutes with the lid closed. Weber says cook everything with the burners on low after the grill preheats. I think steaks do better with the burners left on high. Things that cook longer do better with the burners on low. Your mileage may vary.
