The 6 burner may be "overkill" for you as I have hosted some pretty large Q's with my Genesis II. The smoker is a nice addition on them. Sure you can get by with a tin pan filled with chips and covered with foil (I do) but the smoker is very nice especially with it's own buner arrangement like the summits have. Congrats you're buying the best!
