Good points. For you in Fla. it's more practiasl because it's a year round thing, but for us northerners it's seasonal. Don't much want to fry bacon in a foot of snow. ;) For deep frying, I'm kind of spoiled. I recently purchased a digitally controlled deep fryer. It looks just like one of those Fryolators you see on the Food Network shows. Man, that baby makes it eeeeasy. I guess I'm just gettin' lazy in my old age.
