I had a Weber Gold 3 burner for everal years and I was never that thrilled with it. I do not like the way the burners run across the grill since it makes it harder to do indirect cooking. I also was nver that pleased with the heat either and the grates and flavorizer bars burned out as fast as a $125.00 Home Depot special. I would look further than spending $1500.00 on a Gold Summit
