My Broilmaster is still real new to me (one month old), so I'm not seeing anything negative yet. I bought the all stainless steel model. I have been using if at least three times a week. It does eveything my Ducane does, but without the flare ups. The few flare ups I get are monmentary, then gone. I did get the flavor screen, and clean up is a breeze, lift the grate and shake the screen off and it's clean again. It definitely gets a lot hotter than my Ducane. I got the stainless steel coated cast iron cooking grates, and searing a steak is simple and a diamond sear pattern is super easy to get. I'm sorry, I didn't get the sideburner, so I can't help you there. Maybe someone else will chime in.
