I have a a newly built smoker made of metal. Use it for the first time but pork butts have a "bitter metal-like taste". Any idea of what migh be causing this?
Also have a brick smoker...never had this problem before. Using same rub, same temp, same cooking time on new metal smoker. Meat looks the same but it doest not tast the same on this metal built smoker. Any ideas?
