I have the Traeger 075 (the one that looks like an offest pit). I get great results low and slow barbecuing. I've never tried grilling with it (I have a Weber kettle grill and a Barbecue's Galore gas grill for that). From my experience using it I'd venture a guess that it gets hot enough toward the center (over the fire pot) to grill but it wouldn't be my first choice as a grilling unit.
