Cast iron coated grates are a Depot exclusive, anywhere else you get porclean coated steel in a Silver series grill. You can't buy a Sliver B with stainless grates anywhere, unless the dealer is going to switch out the porclean ones for you at extra charge. I love the cast iron grates and always reccommend my customers, whether Silver or Gold, that they own both cast iron and stainless. Cast iron for stuff like red meat, burgers steaks and such, chicken. Use the stainless for more delicate stuff like fish or stuff that tends to be messy and hard to clean up after. If I was going to switch out anything I would switch out the "Flavorizer Bars" to a set of stainless ones from a Gold. They last longer and are alot easier to clean up.
