While I don't live in Michigan, I have been grilling all winter on my Weber Genesis, including in single-digit temps plus wind, and even in a full-blown blizzard. I allow a few extra minutes to preheat (plus I've hooked mine up to NG from house, not propane, which burns a little cooler.)
