They say "you get what you pay for" and this is true in the smoker/grill world. I have bought, used, and thrown away two sunbeams, 3 charbroils, a versaflame, a fiesta , a great outdoors, 4 brinkmann products {one returned because the paint turned into napalm} and a fiesta - all because Weber was "pricey" Some of these grills bit the dust while cooking out at a party. I had the useless glass window of one grill explode all over the meat! Pizza Hut made out on that deal! I could easily purchase three WEBER grills for what I have spent purchasing and repairing other brands. Ask yourself if you want to have to repair or replace this grill often or if you want one that lasts forever. Many Weber products get passed on to friends and family members because of their durability. I found it almost impossible to find OEM parts for many of the grills. Weber has a full line of parts for all of their products.
Weber can seem pricey, but it is designed to be the last grill you will ever purchase.
