New to the site and after spending a good portion of the morning on the archives here, it sounds like this is a good place to go for info, so I am asking for some guidance and help.
This spring I want to get a new gas grill, but must admit that things have definitely changed from 10 years ago when I bought my first gas grill. Luckily it is now on its last leg, so I have permission to go out and "get a nice one". From preliminary study I am looking at BroilMaster /Ducane/ Weber (in that alphabetical order, no reference to my preference).
Here is the background on me and what I want to accomplish:
-While there are just my wife and myself now, we have a little one on the way, as well as 6 sister in laws that live locally (Michigan). They are over at least 3 times a month in the summer to eat.
-I want to keep the unit on the deck, and plan to use it year round.
-Will plan to cook from burgers/ steaks/ fish/ veggie. Ok, a lot of burgers in the summer... :-)
-Want to keep it under $750 for a grill, and I am more concerned with cooking quality, construction quality and durability than appearance or name brand.
