I'd just add to whatever sauce you like(I like Frank's) put in a blender add your favorite seasonings or rub and blend away. No need to cook the habs cause they're already cooked. Like you say, mix with olive oil to get the mash consistacy you like and other seasonongs to your taste. Imagination is the only thing in your way. I sure like the way mine turned out. Start with a small batch and go from there til you get what you like, but by all means smoke and roast them all at once.
