Go ahead and get the Weber Kettle and order the Slide-a-side part #16116 from Weber @ $20. This gives you the best of both worlds! You can either remove the lid completely or quickly slide it aside. It takes about 10-15 seconds to install depending on how numble you are with the two clips. Also check out you WalMarts and Target stores. I picked up my Weber one touch gold on clearance for $68 marked down from $140. I picked up all kinds of accessories for less than half price!
